I listened to the podcast on Spotify and came here just to see the part where Ciara walked through the room. I love that you don't edit out things like that in your episodes. Seems more honest and real. Congratulations to you and Ciara, and thank you for sharing your work with us.

Is their different approaches if the person has just completed overloaded themselves training or it appears there's movement issues and that has a part to play. Where strength comes in if pain is possible inhibitor and getting a clear read out on strength is muddied.

Hi David. I hope you and the family are doing well. Just listened to your most recent poddy episode, so much value in it. You were chatting about questions for future episodes, something I'd love to hear your thoughts about if it interested you
Pain issues in groin/abdominal.

I’m here for 101 and the next 99 and beyond!
Lots of questions for you I’ve been curious about for some time man –
Who do you consider your clinical mentors? Outside of more experience, how do you personally continue to grow clinically and conceptually?
Could you take us through the process that you went through to develop your clinical model?
How much of your model (current and developing model) comes from others in the industry (Bill Hartman), and do you see any limitations or potential drawbacks to his model? I have worked with a few brilliant clinicians from a conceptual standpoint and get into the nitty gritty of his stuff, but may not be the best clinicians from the “doing” aspect of things.
Lots of thoughts, lots of questions, love the pod and all you do David l, cheers man!

Hey David & Team
Firstly congratulations on the safe arrival of Matthew! You sounded really chuffed to bits on the pod last week.
I’m writing to ask why you think/what I should do if I’m getting tightness around the knee (never had knee probs before) and behind the knee while doing LBB 1&2 with great success after hip replacement surgery.
I have had great success with the programs so far so don’t want to stop but wonder if there’s something simple I might be doing (holding too much tension around the knee somehow but also worried about pain behind same knee)
Cheers

Love the podcast, as always, and can relate with the baby shenanigans. 😵💫
Question: Why do you wait until LBB2 to introduce a kickstand hinge? Do you need competency in the split squat first?

Yep that answer helped mate, thank you ☺️ As you say I'm still gonna do the same things anyway, so suppose it doesn't really matter.
It just gets a bit tricky with objective measurements for me. If someone has 5 degrees of hip IR, and I'm not sure if it's because of muscular tightness or their hip will never get more than that, then I don't know if I'm measuring something that's never going to change. But then I suppose that just means I should pick a different objective measurement/kpi.
Anyway, that answer was helpful thank you!
