You need to make base cold armor at a regular armorers bench (not exceptional or flawless) and then use that armor as ingredients for the improved armorer bench with a named armorer. Seems to need Star metal to craft even tho some of the other epic armor sets don’t need it. Yes, flawless that has cold resist should do the trick, like zingarian freebooters or cimmerian, for example. … That way, if you want, for example, heavy armor that has the best strength weapon stats or armor for a follower/agility build, you can find that! … The lines in bold are those items with some attribute value that is greater than the standard.
