He was born on June 28, 1934, at Doe Run, the son of the late Bert L. and Jessie Georgia Bowyer Georgia Minnie Bowyer of Manhattan, Kansas, formerly of Farmington passed away on December 8, 2002 at the Meadowlark Hills Retirement Commu-it at the age of 90 years. She was born on February 1912,.

at Loughboro, the daughter of the late Samuel Nasln ille and Irene (Kitchen) Nicholson. She also preceded in death her husband Charles William Bowyer, and by 11 and sisters. Georgia was a longtime employee of the Mineral Area Osteopathic Hospital dietary department where retired in 1981. She was also a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington and a founding member of the I'elassus Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Charles William Bowyer, Jr.

of Farmington, Harold Franklin Bowyer and wife Brenda of Festus, and Alva E. Bowyer and wife Yolanda of Junction City, Kansas, by nine sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Friends may call at the Co.ean Memorial Chapel from 9 a.m. to noon on llnirsday, December 12, 2002.

Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist 'Church of Farming-ton with Rev. Rocky Good officiating. Burial will follow at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Meadowlark Good Samaritan Fund.

Watkins worked for the State Hospital for 30 years. He was also a farmer and a deacon at the Coffman Baptist Church. He was a member of I.O.O.F. Lodge No. 48.

Watkins, and a special nephew, Glen "Eddie" Watkins of Doe Run. Other nieces and nephews also survive. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel after 5 p.m.
